2) Made in the SF Bay Area - Our blankets are made in Oakland, Ca very near our XO The Blanket Studio. That means, we go to our manufacturing weekly (not fly to a far away land once every few years). We assess our fabrics in person. We speak in person with our cutter AND sewers. And I am here to say, that they are lovely, mindful, kind people. XO products made with their hands mean only good vibes for you!

We curate our combinations based on current trends even if that means bugging our vendor to please add a color that we feel is missing from their offerings!

With proper care: machine wash cold, tumble dry no or low heat, no softeners (see blog why this is so important), XO The Blanket will be with your family for the foreseeable future. Hands down! The fabric used to make XO The blanket is of the highest quality and thus not inexpensive. Our manufacturing team is paid a fair wage. Even other small businesses on Etsy (and we’ve spent a lot of time researching), with similar fabric are a higher price point and no satin detail. Our blankets last a lifetime.
